At the end of the course the students have a good commant on specific topics of the workings of a monetary economic area, the impact of a economic integration process on various sectors in the economy, as well as on the efficiency of monetary and fiscal policies.
In addition, the paradigm of the European Monetary Union is thoroughly examined in terms of the outcomes delivered. at the end of the course, the students are fully equipped in having a good commant on the concept of economic integration which is expected to fully capitalize it later in the job market and, especially, to positions in relevance to the economic and monetary union.

The course equips the students with a better knowledge level of the economic integration process in order for them to reach more successful decisions on the mechanisms that drive the workings, as well as the efficiency of the economy within a unified monetary and economic environment
